Splendid example by this notable family of violin makers from Germany's Cremona, Marneukirchen. Lustrous warm chestnut brown varnish over hand-selected resonant spruce and maple. (Note: color shift on the photo of the violin's back renders it too yellow. The actual color is closer to the inset photo of the button.) Beautiful warm and powerful tone. Minor worm repair on middle bass bout. Otherwise, superb condition.
