ROBERT DEUTSCH, FOUNDER OF STRINGNET
Robert Deutsch, founder of Stringnet was a cellist in the Houston Symphony from 1976 until his retirement in 2006. Now he enjoys collecting and restoring fine stringed instruments and performing in chamber ensembles and as recitalist. Robert has also enjoyed acquiring and restoring historic properties in Houston, Texas and Morristown, New Jersey.
With the interactivity of the World Wide Web, Robert felt that the Internet provided the ideal medium to display his collection of fine instruments. In 1997 STRINGNET was born!
