ROBERT DEUTSCH, FOUNDER OF STRINGNET

Robert Deutsch, founder of Stringnet was a cellist in the Houston Symphony from 1976 until 2006. Now he enjoys being with his beautiful family and collecting and restoring fine stringed instruments. Robert and Xiangwei are historic preservationists who maintain several historic properties in Houston, Texas and their hometown, Morristown, New Jersey.

With the interactivity of the World Wide Web, Robert felt that the Internet provided the ideal medium to display his collection of fine instruments. In 1997 STRINGNET was born!
